Legacy it is. The 2WD model I saw ( 2003 model ) had a drive train to rival most compact tractors, VERY beefy. The 20 HP liquid cooled Kawasaki seemed a bit under powered though. I think the 4WD has a 27HP. ( both gas engines )

I just saw I put L 3100, its a L3010! Anyway, the charger
will be hooked up soon, and the cover allows it to breath just fine. I basically did the same thing last winter but knew you guys would have some good ideas to add, such as the charger and fuel stabilizer.

Just to throw in my two cents on the "odd number cylinder" debate. I have a Winibago that sits on a VW chasis and it has a 5 cylinder emgine. It weighs 7000 lbs and the motor ( gas ) pulls it just fine, even in the mountains.

I asked Kubota about this "voided warrenty " business and the following is cut and pasted from thier reply..
Hello Mr. Smith. Thank you for contacting Kubota. Kubota strongly
recommends the use of Kubota Super UDT in your hydraulic system along with
genuine Kubota filters. Super UDT was designed specifically for the
requirements of Kubota's GST style transmission. This blend provides
superior shifting performance when used in colder temperatures (below 40�
F). Using other filters and fluids does not automatically void your
warranty. However, if damage is caused directly from the use of these
products, Kubota will not cover the repairs under warranty. You would need
to deal directly with the supplier of the fluid or filter for their
support. Again, thanks for contacting Kubota.

I paid 14,100 for a 2001 L3010 GST w/ new 72" Befco finish mower. From what I am reading here it seems I got a fair deal. What do you think.(32 hrs on the tractor @ that time )
